A great blog to go to for anime news and anime dub updates is FUNimation's blog. They will bring you new information on either your favorite anime or an anime you haven't even heard of or seen yet. It inspires me to put some more humor into my posts so people will be entertained while reading my posts. I highly recommend you go visit the blog, maybe you will find a new anime to watch and fall in love with. Have a great day everyone!

Next week in club we will be going into the history of manga, how it came to be and some of the people who are involved in its upbringing. We will also be going over the writing and drawing processes that a mangaka (Japanese comic book author and illustrator) goes through to get a great looking manga with a good story. This anime is about a man named Seishu Handa, based off the manga by Satsuki Yoshino. Seishu is a successful but striving calligrapher who, after punching his father who is a figurehead in the calligraphy scene, was sent to live on a small island in a village where everyone knows everyone in order to regain his poise as a calligrapher. This anime is a great one to watch with your family and friends. It incorporates humor, slice of life and drama together very well. The story gets really "feelsy".It balances out though by using slapstick comedy to get you laughing. I would give this anime a 8.5 out of 10. I hope you all will enjoy it as much as I did. This review will be on "Danganronpa".
"Danganronpa" is a psychological anime about a group of students trapped in a school where they must kill the other students to leave. The rule to that is they must not be caught, because after each murder there is a trial where the other students must find and accuse the correct person and condemn them to death, if the accuser is wrong the accuser will be "punished". This anime is a great one to watch with friends ( not family), because you can try to solve the murder along with the other characters. You get to know the identities and personalities of each character and get really into them before they are "accused". I give this anime 7.5 out of 10. (Blood is censored) This is a common question among anime and manga lovers. Most people want to know what you are interested in and what you watch or read the most. That question can bring people together or break friendships apart. My answer to this question is not always as simple as one anime or manga, I have many favorites. For example I really like an anime called "Overlord", but that is just from the fall section of newly released anime. I will go into more detail about sections of anime in a different post.
I will be posting a review on "Barakamon" this weekend. So be prepared to hear about a funny and very "Feelsy" anime review.
This Wednesday, October 21st, is the second club meeting. We will be doing an overview or the Intro to club PowerPoint for club members who were not able to attend club last week. After that is finished we will have Genre day! Genre day is all about learning the many types of genres, how they work, what anime and manga have only one genre, and how to create your own manga or story using a few different genres. I hope to see you all there
Disclaimer: This is my own opinion. If you would like to have a friendly debate or a good conversation about the anime and what you think about it, feel free to start one in the comments. I will respond. "The Devil is a Part Timer" is an amazingly funny anime. The anime is about how the Demon king from another world( Ente Isla), along with his servant, are transported to our world and specifically Tokyo, Japan. He then is forced, due to lack of food and money, to get a job at MgRonalds (a knock off of McDonalds). His plan is to then rule the world through becoming the manager at his workplace. I am not going to go too far into detail about the anime because I would like it if you would go watch it yourself. The anime genres are: comedy, action, romance, fantasy, and it has a little bit of harem thrown in. There is only one season of this anime so far and I have to say I really enjoyed it and I recommend it to anyone who likes to have a good laugh. It's an anime that does not really take itself all that seriously and that is what makes it really enjoyable. Now, as all anime do have them, there is a few flaws to this series. There really is not much character development for the characters outside the male protagonist (Sadou Mao) and the female protagonist(Emilia). Most of the characters are really just thrown in to further the plot, which in retrospect is not all that bad but there are a few characters that I, and many other people i'm guessing, want to get to know their story and how they got to where they are now. I know that it would make the series longer, not that it's a bad thing, but many of us would like to see more into maybe Lucifer's past or someone else's past. Other than that small problem I have it I really did enjoy it, and it gave me a good laugh. So i would give it a 7 out of 10 ( My rating scale is 1 for bad and 10 for amazing). Hello everyone, and I want to just say I am sorry. I will get the review out tomorrow. So look forward to that.
