Next week we will be getting back on track, sorry for delaying the schedule. Next week we will definitely be going over Japanese history and some of the mannerisms in modern Japan. Make sure to bring a pencil and paper if you want to take notes, but it is not required you do. Just come to club and enjoy hearing about Japans past and about the different groups in Japan that are living today. I hope to see you all there next week. Have a good Thanksgiving break, and always remember, there is always time to watch another episode (\^.^/).
Hey there everyone, I am sorry to say that there will not be an anime review this week due to Thanksgiving break, and also there will be a lack of blog posts till next week Monday when we will be reviewing a new anime and going over a new and exciting topic. It is cold outside so bundle up. See ya'll next week! This anime is a very long one. It has around 200 or so episodes. A lot of people don't have the time to watch all of them and that is perfectly fine. It's fine because you don't really have to watch every episode in order to understand what is going on in the series, that is because there is normally a recap of events at the beginning of each episode. This anime is about a guy named Tsunayoshi, or Tsuna for short. He is a normal middle schooler at the beginning, but then a baby hitman named Reborn shows up and tells Tsuna he is to be the 10th generation mafia boss. Throughout the series there is plenty of action, humor, and romance, as Tsuna comes to terms with his pre-determined fate. I recommend this anime to anyone who likes action and comedy. I give this anime a 7 out of 10. I am sorry to say that next week we will not be having club due to Thanksgiving break. I hope you all have a great holiday, sayonara minasan! Japanese Culture is a pretty cool thing, well not just Japanese culture but all of the Asian cultures are great (except for a certain few). In my experiences I have been a part of a few cultures, those being the American culture and the Japanese culture, it is great to have the knowledge that I have about both. It makes me a bit more refined in some ways but then again I also have my faults when it comes to writing in English. I suggest studying a different culture in the future, be it from books or from actually going to those countries and experiencing it first hand. It just might change your view on both your life and the world as a whole. Next week in anime club we will be getting back on track with the timeline. We will be going over some important parts, as well as fun and interesting parts, of Japans history. We will also go over some of the edict of modern Japan. Along with that we will learn basic school and language manners and mannerisms. This anime is an action, adventure anime. It is for those who enjoy action scenes and the sense of adventure. A short synopses of its plot is: There is a kingdom that is being taken over by its protectors, the holy knights. The royal family was captured and put into custody as that was happening. Before the king was taken away he sent his daughter, the third princess Elizabeth out to save herself and to find the seven most powerful and feared worriers known as the Seven Deadly Sins. Elizabeth roamed the land in search of the seven in a rusty suit of armor, when she stumbled upon a bar called the Boar Hat where she meets the first and the leader of the Sins, the Dragon sin of wrath Melodious. She convinces him to adventure with her to find the other six sins and then they go off in search of them. They face many trials and tribulations along the way and they go toe to toe with their main enemy, the holy knights. I highly recommend this anime to anyone who likes to laugh and anyone who likes good action scenes. I give this anime an 8 out of 10, that is because I thoroughly enjoyed all of the characters and their personalities as well as the straight forward plot. It is the way I kind of vent my feelings, but not only that, it makes me and others happy. You, the writer/illustrator, are able to create your own world with its very own characters and characteristics. That, to me, is the most exciting part of writing. Not only do you have the power to create a world, but you also have the power to make others connect with the characters you make on an emotional level. Now I am not saying that all the novels or comics someone makes will be fantastic but for the ones that are people will be able to connect, hopefully, very well with the world and the characters that someone made. The power to make others happy, sad, or any other feeling is the best because then if you know someone you care about is having a bad day you could maybe write a funny comic or compose a cute poem. So to answer those questions in short... yes writing is very fun, depending on the person, and yes it is worth it if you can maybe make a difference in someone else's life.
A Mangaka is a Japanese comic book illustrator and writer. There are a lot of them but you could be one too. Most people think that becoming a comic book writer or illustrator is a very hard task, and yes most of it is hard, but the only hard parts are studying art and writing in order to be good at what you and others want to do. All it takes is one great idea to begin someones journey to coming a great or good mangaka. The only problems someone might have are getting published. Now-a-days it is pretty easy to get published, but you must have an actually good story and the panels must be very well edited and illustrated. Also even if you do get published you must continue to hone your skills and never stop trying to write new stories or draw new panels because the more practiced you are the better chance you will get published again. Some mangakas make their mangas just to meet a deadline, they only care about the money. That is understandable but the fans most of the time can see the lack of thought they put into the manga. Therefor if you become a mangaka you need to decide weather or not you will stick to your own stories and make yourself and the audience happy or if you want to meet a deadline and take a hit from the audience. The decision is yours, because after you get published the hardest task is staying published and getting republished. Now go out there and follow your dreams. You can do it! |
